The Borough will be conducting routine hydrant flushing to maintain water quality and ensure proper hydrant operation. During this process, residents may notice temporary discoloration in their water. This is caused by harmless mineral deposits being stirred up in the water mains. While the water remains safe, we recommend avoiding laundry during flushing hours to prevent fabric staining. If discoloration occurs, run cold water from a faucet for a few minutes until it clears.
